The parties discussed opportunities to elevate Uzbekistan–Japan cooperation in the field of digital technologies, implement promising joint projects, and investment expand partnerships.

Given Japan’s growing demand for IT professionals, the meeting focused on training highly qualified specialists in Uzbekistan in line with international standards, enhancing their competitiveness in global labor markets, and increasing the export of IT services to Japan.

The Japanese delegation was also presented with information on the favorable conditions created in Uzbekistan for the development of data centers, expansion of digital infrastructure, and implementation of major technology investment projects.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening practical cooperation in the areas of the digital economy, IT services exports, digital infrastructure development, and human capital development.
