“An objective assessment of the activities of ministries and agencies, committees and inspectorates, as well as further increasing their accountability to the population, will now remain our constant focus. From now on, the principle of working ‘for the result’, not ‘for the process’, will become the main criterion in the activities of agencies,” the President said.

The head of state noted that, from this perspective, the “Quality Public Governance” program represents a reform aimed at shaping an entirely new management culture and worldview.

According to the President, the program is designed to objectively assess the performance of state agencies, identify their strengths and weaknesses, promote the widespread dissemination of best practices, and support a healthy competitive environment.

It was also noted that during January–April of this year, international experts and local specialists conducted assessments of the activities of state institutions, the quality of governance, and the leadership competencies of managerial personnel within the framework of the program.

A total of 40 republican-level agencies and their employees participated in the competition.
