During the meeting, the parties reviewed issues related to the development of the FinTech market, the regulatory environment for digital finance and opportunities for strengthening the country’s technology startup ecosystem.

The discussions focused on the establishment of venture funds with the participation of banking sector shareholders, mechanisms for supporting startup initiatives, expanding investment cooperation and implementing M&A transactions within the technology sector.

Particular attention was also given to the development strategy for Uzbekistan’s FinTech ecosystem, including the adaptation of international experience and best practices in the field of digital finance and innovation management.

Representatives of PwC and Strategy& presented information on their experience and projects related to banking modernization, digital transformation and the development of technological ecosystems across the Eurasian region.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed interest in continuing cooperation in the fields of digital finance, innovative technologies and startup ecosystem development.
